4 grand might be barely enough just to get a kit, what about gauges, install, tune, etc?

1) as stated above, dont boost on a budget

2) you might want to look into getting the S/C... with the cost of the S/C and install it should run you less than $4k, you get a warranty, and you might have money left over for an exhaust or other goodies.

3) SEARCH button is your friend

they are all telling you the truth, also none of the turbocharger kits will still be smog legal as are aftermarket parts for our cars and around 240whp the tranny starts to slip. hey if you want one for the lowest price then try ebay.

you can order kits from www.dezod.com with a cat'ed downpipe so you can pass emissions.

don't boost on a budget, any turbo kit can blow your whole engine up, and if $H!T hits the fan, what are you going to do? your 18, and you just destroyed your new car that your parents bought for you.

well there are always water/meth injection, and tranny coolers for auto guys...and TT simple kid is $3200 for the kit with engine management...then install and tune could...perhaps be close to $4000

true, water/meth has nothing to do with the transmission.

did you get the 05-06 kit and just changed the ecu and the MAF? or did they come out with the 07 kits already?

i got a plate cut to fit the maf sensor on the intake pipe and just fixed it on there with some silicone.

and the piggy back system is supposed to be unichip but i used a greddy e-manage and had my car dyno-tuned and they messed up the tune...way to rich and way to low psi so i need a retune but anways yeah..its a good kit overall. new downpipe...new turbo...i bought the kit used...its a cooled line turbo

hmm good to know because i've thought about getting that kit this year and would you say 440cc injectors would be fine for it?
