injector questions
right now i have trd 410cc injectors (the ones that come with the s/c) and my question is will these be able to support 8-9 psi? I'm currently running 5 pounds but, i want to add boost and go for a tune. i dont want to go for a tune if my injectors will max out before i hit my goal of 8-9 pounds.
PSI numbers won't matter - it depends on how much horsepower you're expecting at those psi levels.
410cc injectors will max out at 230-ish hp. If your turbo is a 50trim T04E or larger, you'll be needing larger injectors - 550cc at minimum.

x2, it isn't about psi, it is about how much CFM your turbo flow's. A 16g at 10 psi wont flow nearly as much as lets say a gt35 at the same psi. Why not buy something like 600cc's, the more room the better.

ima make a guess that a 16g at 10psi might be ok with those injectors... a t3/t4 50-57 trim i highly doubt its enough...
just an example but today i finished up on final touch ups to two tc's today...both are running t3/t4 hybrids (one a turbonetics v2 kit and another turbotoyotas v2.1 kit) cant remember the specs on the turbos but they both have 550cc injectors and at 8psi they are roughly in 70% duty cycle. the norm is to not go over 80% as it will cause erratic afr's and lean conditions. I guess that they will be able to go 2-3psi more before hitting 80%.

Hmm looks like i'm going to need bigger injectors. I have a T104E 50 trim and i'm looking for about 280ish whp hopefully. I think i'm going to pick up some 550cc. Thanks for your help.
before you got there me and Kyle were looking at dezod's 850cc pnp injectors versus the p-tuning 900cc pnp injectors....for an extra 30 over what dezod sells thers for you can get the 900cc p-tuning.....idk if 50cc is worth 30 buxs but they both seem like good choices. dezods come out to something of 415 shipped i think.
^^ if dont make it to a school in forthworth, i might try my luck in houston.. but let your boys over there get some standalone and get crush tuned lol.. haltech sounds good
