Do it yourself with someone who is more experienced than you. It'll save you money and you might learn a thing or two.

so yea from my experience i think anyone even slightly mechanically inclined could install a kit themselves, i dont have a TON of f/i experience but i didnt have a prob fabbing my own kit let alone just installing it, find someone thats slightly mechanically inclined and get to work! Its really a lot of fun As for the tune, im sure dezod will send you a fic basemap, or just create a basemap that subtracts for the side of your injectors, set everything you dont want to use to percent and zero out the maps. than youll be running like stock, just dont go into boost and youll be fine, i get practice of staying out of boost between pay days when i cant afford gas, its not that hard if you watch your boost guage

wow they are really ripping you off.

at MOST it should cost 600 to install. hell the dealership installs supercharger for 600.

you should do it yourself, can you work a 13mm, 11mm, 10mm and 12mm wrench? if you can you can do it.

only hard part is the oil pan and we all have tricks.

mine involves a bunch of small box cutter blades and a mallet, others involve torch and screwdrivers.

Fresh off of our install manual courtesy of Joe.

That is insanely expensive. Time to look somewhere else or do it yourself.

Rofl, $100 per hour for labor. Where the hell are you going, a BMW dealer?

Also, I stopped reading after I saw that they want $150 just for R&R on the manifold. That's at most a 20 minute job.

OMG. $500 to install the F/IC? WTF?! If that's not including the PnP, then just buy the PnP for $300 and do it yourself. Remove glove box, unplug harness, plug in harness, use some strong double sided tape and stick to the top of the stock ECU. Done. 10 minutes.

While I agree it's too much, that's the rate my local Toyota/Scion dealer charges too.

2.4 hours to remove and replace fuel injectors??? WTF?!!!! im surprised that he left out 3 hours to bleed and replace blinker fluid, 5 hours to high speed balance the intake manifold, and 1 hour of cleaning your back off with a towel, after he pulls out and blows his load.

please find a local forum, and spread the word about this shop.
