Default installed forge splitter UPDATED w/ sound clips

I thought I'd share my opinion on this cuz i know people would like to know more about this product. First let me say now i know why all the s/c guys switch to an upgraded bpv, I instantly feel a difference much more responsive in the lower rpm's although I dont have a boost gage so i dont know if I'm hitting full boost or not. It was definitely easy to install took about ten mins. The one thing I am not liking is I can barely hear the atmospheric side I thought it would be louder so I'm a little disappointed. I'll post a sound clip cuz i know alot of you guys are curious on how it sounds. I dont have much time with me working day and night but I'll put it up asap.

It doesnt say you can in the manual it came with, It just says turrn it clockwise to stiffin the spring preload and counter clockwise to loosen it depending on how much psi your running.

hmmm I'm guessing to get a louder sound you would have to run less recirculating and more atmospheric. have you hear anything about being able to change the lil horm to get different sounds

It is 90/10 recirc. It's not very loud...it might be louder if you set it up as a full atmospheric, but that's not recommended by the manufacturer. I installed mine this weekend as well, went for a drive - it definitely sounds nice, but I'm not sure which setting the spring is supposed to be on (I clicked it about 15-20 times from the lightest spring load), and when I was in idle for a few minutes, the car started to idle funny and made a strange clicking noise (maybe the BPV was fluttering? I dunno), so I put the old 102 back on until I read up further on it.

But yeah, it's a really easy and quick install!

Mine makes that same fluttering noise at idle, I just ignore it and it goes away, lol.

ok I would just like to say, if you don't have boost gauges or a/f gauges, your not gonna know what setting is best for your car. so I would recommend getting those if you are f/I period then worry about getting a hybrid diverter

It holds boost rock solid. 2nd and 3rd gear you get 5psi immediately on WOT. It is a hell of a difference.
