don't ask me why, people just don't think it is efficient or cost effective to intercool our tc superchargers which doesn't make sense to me becaue every supercharged car i see supercharged and intercooled.

most s/c'ed tc's add water/meth injection. so not to say you can't intercool your tc, i just can't think of anybody who has done it.

It is possible to Intercool your Supercharger on a tC.

TRD Supercharger w/TRD intercooler:

That was taken over a year ago at the Longo Scion show at Irwindale Speedway here in So. Cal

you would need a hood scoop.

anyway, i don't think you get much of a gain from from the intercooler itself. but you can increase the boost more safetly.

Yup - it wasnt the gain at all.....it was so you can boost safer. The tC doesnt have much room and the piping is long. Because of this the s/c needs a pulley thats 2lbs higher just to get the same psi as w/o it. Methanol injector with prestone yellow windshield deicer is the way to go.

A FMIC doesn't work very well because of the amount of piping required and because of the TRD SC design. A small top mount with minimal piping would probably yield some good gains though. And boost levels upward of 10psi would likely see some nice gains.

You know you LOSE boost pressure with an intercooler. It's pointless in a supercharger setup. Go with Meth injection.
