Default it's official...

boys and girls I'm kinda sad to say that Jam0321 will be leaving you all soon.
It's time to move on to my next project...BMW 335i...with of course...uh um...twin turbos
This should be really fun.
I will say thanks to everyone hear for all the knowledge and experience they share. You guys have definitely been a fun crowd to hear from.
Good luck to all of you and your projects.

Of course this does mean that I will pawning off some of my stuff so keep a look out in the classifieds.

As of now it looks like the Turbonetics system might be going up for sale...any takers feel free to PM me.

Keep the FI boards interesting and I can't wait to see the next 12 sec tC.

Keep representing boys!!! I'll see you on the street

95% of tC owners that turbo their whip, end up selling it shortly after... what gives?

the tC was a great project car but it was never meant to be a long time purchase.
I think there is an element about boosting a tC that you kinda get to point where you are pushing limits and have to invest a pretty penny for a new long block, lsd and so on. I just couldn't justify putting another 5K into a $17 car.
It is great for a simple bolt on turbo system though.

Greg is backing out due to the lack of interest generated. He needed a committment of around 6 to get the order in but not enough people could show true intent of purchase.
I know there is still that demand but no risk takers out there.
Hopefully one of the bigger company's can get off their **** and get us a 3"

My boys tC will be 3 inch all the way from the Turbo. Projected 450-500whp and 11sec passes.

I thought the tC was a good car to build on. Beautiful lines and very comfy interior. But the 2AZ-FE really hits a wall and the powertrain just wasn't meant to handle this much power.
Hopefully Scion will include the LSD in it's packages and TRD can do something about this stuffy head.
All in all, not to bad.
It's just to hard with two little ones in the backseat all the time.

that's cool. I definitely believe you need 3" to get into the 350whp+ range.

Saw your vid on You Tube before I saw the thread...that's hilarious!

Hopefully you guys keep pushing the tC's limits and really make this baby fly.

I'd say I'm in for the long haul. No plans on selling my tC. I love this car too much.

Anyway Jam, Like I said before....sad to see ya go man. Be sure and post some pics of the BMW when you get it.

I don't think I'll really totally leave this site. You guys are to funny. You should read some of the stuff on the bimmer forums. Those guys have no clue when it comes to FI. They's never dealt with it so everyone post ridiculous things. Plus the aftermarket support is nill to none.

I'll be sure to post some pics.

It would be tough for me to own a car and not have the aftermarket there to temp me. Its too much fun to mod cars.
