i need a shift light for sure i kno would help with quick runs but any suggestions or should i just buy an autometer full tachomer and putt it in my glove box at an angle facing me next to my boost guage..........i think im going to move the boost guage to the cubby in front of the shifter with the dome light what do you think........



think i should move it to be a lil more visible ? it faces the passenger seet str8 up so the view from the driver seat kinda sux

 

If it's like one of those RPM devices that flash a light, it's pretty ricer IMO. Just do a gauge face conversion where you can put the RPM meter on the middle instead of the side. I think Led-mod.com offers one.

 

they make just a shift light. a couple guys run it on top of their steering wheel colum looks real good.

you could also move that gauge to your cubby and drill a hole for thie shift light and mount it there maybe.

I would be one of those guys. Ever since raising the RPMs I enjoy not having to stare at the tac to see were I need to shift.

iv installed a couple of megan short shifters...they arnt bad. guess it depends on how short you want it. they all are fairly easy to install and i havnt come accross any yet that caused any issues.

 

I'm going to be switching mine back to stock so my TWM stg2 SS should be for sale soon. This is the shift light I have.
