also the cars are set-up for drift, not drag. they might not even have a set of grippy tires designed for drag.

i remember in a comparison between the scion drift cars, and the nissan GT-R, the scions don't even have speedos in them. lol.

 

id be inline for tickets for a rematch...it was a helluva idea to match them two up, too bad p-tuning car had issues.

 

can't wait to see it. i just think that its pretty funny that you talked crap in the other thread about how all the turbo tc's ran such slow times because "they all must have had dezod kits", and then the $150,000 ptuning tc runs what was probably the slowest time of the day.

 

Damn your a harsh hater on Ptuning huh? Atleast Ptuning has a track car....... they show right there that they believe in this car as a real platform as well as descendant.

 

no doubt that i dont like ptuning. but both sides of the whole "dezod vs ptuning" argument have been pretty respectful of each other for a while now. then blown xa talks crap about dezod out of nowhere. iwas wondering where the sudden outburst came from. now i see why he was so frustrated. i just think its pretty ironic. dontcha think?

 

Doesn't dezod have Dan Gardner? And just cause they have a Tc track doesn't mean there high and mighty. All like dezod,ptuning, and descendant they all have there shops set right. To each it's own. Everyone has to eat.

Dezod didn't Build Dan Gardner's car....so the answer is no. They sponsor it with some stuff. That's not the same as building a car, tuning it, and hiring a driver to race it under your own shops budget. Not even close to comparison.

PTuning and World Racing are the only two site sponsors with dedicated track cars.

And the PTuning tC has already ran faster than the RSR tC did this past weekend. Its not like it has something to prove.

 

ya lol dan gardner is no where close to a dezod shop car. dont get it mixed up.

 

why would dezod need a shop car when competitive racers and race teams come to them?

i dont want a shop war either. this thread was not intended to start one. im just clearing up a little miscommunication on blown xa's comment about how all the slow tc's were running dezod kits. clearly thats not the case.

 

Well that's not the case cause tofasttc had dezods kis when he made butt loads of power then he switched to ptuning and raised the boost and made power so pretty much both kits are great. And now dezods new parts are great. So every shop has there own greatness. Lol I frankly go with quality and price lol.

It was a joke. Someone took it a little more seriously than others. Didn't pay that much attention to who was running what, just know they all lost to Justin's PTuning xA. Also, PTuning wrenched xB took home the Fastest xB, and AutoX, Fox's car took home the fastest time in the AutoX....which ironically....is PTuning powered also...LOL.




I think as far as I know, Joe Dezod's personal tC was the closest to being a Dezod "shop car". It was used to basically launch the brand. Since then though, never heard or seen an actually Dezod "shop car".

PS....Wonder whatever happened to Joe anyway. Last he was driving an RX8.

Munch dropped the game and got a Dodge SRT4 but not the neon, last i heard..

It seems like another ____ing match between the two shops.. All and All both shops excelled in producing a product. Regardless of who is in more competitions and events. So my hat's off to them both.
