any one running a knock gauge? tips? the good the bad and the fugly

it a good tool but how reliable is the knock detection? i has its own sensor or wired to the factory knock sensors?

 

idk i was hopeing some folks would post up some links to some other knock gauges and/or sensors so i could get more ideas and experiances from users..

 

wires up to you factory knock sensor. I saw one on ptunings site that was similar.

 

Dont use one, I spoke with Ptuning before about tuning and he said they have one specifically for tuning on their dyno that is more precise than the oem versions. Get a wideband and pyrometer to tune and you will be fine. Use a scan tool to read live data and read from your oem sensor as well.
