nice video man. I think if you had had a manual tranny, results wouldve been a little tighter. I think it runs great for an auto though.

I ran a 9.453 to his 9.369.

 

Does'nt he have a fully built motor and like 390whp ?

what were your trap speeds? I was hitting 81.95 but my 60fts sucked 2.5's the aznis Rt-615 wernt cutting it.

 

Munch couldn't get traction, and he downgraded his turbo to his old turbonetics one, and was only running 10psi. He changes his setup a lot. His new setup spools later (Bigger turbo), and wouldn't work well on the 1/8th.

My trap speeds were... 75.37, 75.75, 75.40, 75.67, 75.10.

 

O..MY! You mean to tell me he actually let you video tape him racing! That's a first in a very...VERY long time.

What were you boosting at Krdshrk?

Good runs by the way. I was running 8.8's on those crappy DR's and slipping clutch in that 1/4 mile vid I posted up.

 

We've videoed each other racing a few times. Lol. Look at my other vids on Youtube.

I was running my same setup - ~7psi, and my 15" BFG DRs.

Keep in mind, this track was NOT prepped, so it was very slick and hard to get grip. All the cars with street tires were spinning badly. Even with DR's or slicks, we were spinning too.

traction was deffinitly a big problem seemed like the left lane was worse than the right lane was. Ohwell time for some good new tires I realy miss my Ingals etd now

 

Nice runs. I know all about ____ ___ tracks. The one I ran at was terrible, ruts in the staging area and the left lane was slanted sideways I trapped 75mph in the 1/8th but couldn't pull decents times with 60ft's in the 2.3 to 2.4 range. Trapped 95 in the 1/4 mile, so I was happy :D

 

Was this the first time you ran there? If not, I suggest you stick to the 1/4 mile track you were on in your other vids.

Rhythm - ScionVIP rented out the 1/8th mile track for us. The 1/4 mile track was in use for the NHRA pro racing side.

I think Munch's best time on that track was a 9.145.

 

yeah thats alot better then mine i was a 9.5@81.95/ 9.6@80.64/10.02@79.81 I was thinking after i should have tuned the boost down from 10 psi and seen if i could get a better time that way.
