good, I was beginning to wonder. Of course that oil pan is a b!tch. It could take some time to get it off without damaging the block.

I'm sure your wondering what on earth I am driving around while i'm working on my car

well.........here's my backup

Final Update Till Monday

Well, I sufered my first injury working on my car. I was under neath mounting my exhaust, while tightening a bolt my hand slipped off the torque wrench and i cut my ring finger pretty good on the top on the follow through

AYE! I pretty much packed it up after the injury....Yes I have mechanix gloves but I wasnt really thinking

Oh yeah Here's the pic of my exhaust prior to install

THAT IS ALL.... SEE YA WITH MORE PICS MON/TUE/WED

Dezod's 2.5" Turbo-Back (S-Pipe Back) SS Exhaust

http://dezod.com/pd_dezod_motorsport...less_steel.cfm

Paul really pulled through on this for me. I really didnt know what kind of exhaust I wanted for my custom project and I didnt want a 3" exhaust and he leaned me towards this exhaust... which I'm sure its gonna be PIMP. It looks sooo good in person too!

I will be anticipating the sound of this exhaust, he said this is the one Joe has and I heard many sound clips of it and I loved it...

so

Remember Keep In Mind When Doing An Exhaust:

SOMETIMES bigger is NOT better!

Interestingly enough, my friend Jason went to the dyno with his cavalier, 2.4L NA for a baseline before he installs his insane turbo setup. He had the stock 2.4L with an Injen intake, adjustable FPR, a DC header, and 3" exhaust with no cats and no resonator (loud as ish). He dyno'd at 156.5HP and 170lb-ft of torque. Kinda made me wonder if 3" really is too big. It seems he built all kinds of torque because the 2.4L quad 4 shouldn't be putting out that much torque to the wheels!!!

that exhaust looks very nice btw.

Pretty darn nice setup. Get your finger together and let us know how things go.

Well I read *Corkey Bell - Maximum Boost* that he mentioned it MANY times that sometimes a 3" exhaust is sometimes not the best way to go. Sometimes bigger is not better no matter what mods you have done to it.

Thanks for the compliment!! :D I love this exhaust!

yeah, i thought his torque number would be much lower with that unrestricted 3" exhaust on there...but I was surprised. So was he.
