...what the hell are you talking about? launch control? you going into space?

dezod is developing an aem standalone ecu that will have traction control built in.

there is also the trd lsd developed by quaife.

other than that, you gotta do it yourself.

ummm...... as to above obviously you need to get to your local track and listen to the massive amounts of people using their launch control. Basically a rev limiter, but only works under a certain speed, so that you can leave the line with your foot in the floor and still leave at your optimum rpms.

I have only seen one and it was from someone I had never heard of. Search for it, it was on here... The guy was trying to sell them.

okay...understand what it is now sort of, but why would you need on on a tc? you get massive wheel spin launching at any rpm 3000 and up. is this like for people who don't know how to to modulate the gas pedal?

i mean, to launch the tc, rev to 2500 rpms, drop the clutch and feed the throttle. why do we need a launch control?

it is called autosports and techniques. sorry i prefer to use my own race on my own skills and not have to install a bunch of gadgets designed to compensate for lack of driver ability.

ok well you obviously dont bracket race much do you.its all about being consistant, and that means launching your car the exact same way everytime, and i dont care how good your feet are your not going to be able to do it as well as a computer.

Whats Wrong with a Greddy e-Manage Ultimate? Is this launch control thing the same as a two-step?

Gizzmo's launch Interface integrates with the Gizzmo Tach Recall
Shiftlight to enable the fully adjustable launch control function. The launch control function induces sequential misfire events at the desired rpm set by the user.
In a turbo application, having the throttle open while inducing misfire
increase the velocity and density of exhaust gases, allowing the turbo to spool up and generate boost with load. This results in boost being
generated before launching and therefore allowing a vehicle to launch with considerably more power. The ignition cut is clutch activated
allowing flat changing (the ability to change gear without removing your foot from the throttle). With the clutch engaged the rpm will pull back to the launch rpm previously set by the user in order to avoid over reving, this results in the vehicle not coming off boost while moving through the gears.
Launch control can benefit natural aspirated cars by giving a consistent launch rpm for best results every time, and enable quicker gear changes through flat changing.

The AEM EMS we developed for the race team and 318_tc's cars have the ability of 2 step launch control. The AEM EMS will be available soon.
