Default Long drive to my tuner, need suggestions

I've been having this problem how to get my car tuned.. The only good tuner I know is like 6-7 hrs away.. im running emanage blue to run the car, runs and idles fine but with slighty lean afrs 14.8- 15.5 cruising afrs. The only code that has kept coming back is P0171 (bank 1- too lean mixture) so I kinda having second thoughts bringing it to a long drive but i have to get this car to the tuner.. I know on idle and cruise there's not so much stress on the engine but long periods of driving might be bad.

I have these options in mind and i need opinions or suggestions

1. Drive the car and do some 15-30mins rest every 2 hrs of driving.

2. Try other maps that works better

3. Just adjust the map to make it richer
question
Can we adjust idle/cruising afrs w/ emanage blue?
Would installing dezod black box and emanage pressure sensor help?
How bout putting back the stock injectors? would it make a difference?
Will changing the injector parameter to 440 make the tune richer? - sounds dumb, but im desperate
4. Just tow the car to the tuner- damn my car is so low, risk for damage?

5. Im gonna stay untuned forever till the car dies..

Now I need help badly.. need suggestions pls

Ace,

try to reconnect the factory ECU, take out the bigger injectors and replace the stock ones, and drive to the tuner, and do not go into boost.

you should be fine.

what do you mean reconnect the factory ecu, you mean to take out the emanage blue and running without a map? yeah staying out of boost is sure no problem, so stock injectors will be better when you stay out of boost? wouldnt you run even leaner with the smaller one?

I wonder if colder plugs affects afrs, in idle or cruising or does colder plugs make afrs leaner.. if it does, i might just put some oem plugs back or maybe just a step one colder since i wont hit boost anyway.

ace,

i had the same question for Todd when I said im gunna need to figure out a way to get my my tuner without dyin at every stoplight, since i wanna try to install it at my home.

and he said to disconnect the fic(or in ur case emanage) and run the stock ecu with stock injectors, stay out of boost, and the car should be able to handle it until u can get to a tuner

i wonder if the same goes for dezods kit.. if i can drive around with stock injectors and no aem fic on, or would it be better to try and put injectors and upload a dezod basemap onto AEM. *not trying to thread jack but its kinda the same thing*

yea but u would have to stay under 3000 rpm and no more than 1/4 throttle, cause u dont want to build boost

Todd is comin back from Cali on monday, he should respond to this thread so, we'll see

Run stock injectors on a stock tune and you will run rich. that's safer then running lean. Just remember the treadstone kit runs on no tuner and stock injectors. so you should be fine buddy.

This is 100% offtopic but i'll say it anyways. you live by my grandparents!

Thanks for ideas guys, i might just run stocks injectors and with the basemap with parameter set to stock injectors then if still bad run it with out the emanage. but i wonder how putting a less colder plug will affect timing, will it make it a lil richer?

And yeah tc_2ner, you dont have to stay below 3K to hit boost as long as you dont press the throttle fast you will be in vacuum, even on 5K at 5th.. but im gonna cruise a lil slower may just 65.. Its just a 6-7hrs drive though, running the car in not so good condition is a lil scary

Not to get off topic but the treadstone does not use stock injectors, they are higher flow.
