Got a Quaife and LOVE it!!! Pretty much required if you are turbo. Even with it I spin tires pretty easily.

It excludes shims and speedometer drive gear. So, where do I get that?

yeah, get the install kit, but you'll still need the speedogear because 9 times out of 10, the speedogear breaks as they are working on the differential.

you might not need to get the install kit and save yourself some money, if the garage that is installing it has the parts already. like p-tuning told me that if i want to have them install an lsd, they already have all the parts needed, i'd just have to bring the lsd itself.

and yeah, the lsd helps ALOT from what i've heard. it doesn't make the launching the car fool proof, but it is alot easier.

and while your at it, save some money on labor and install the clutch, flywheel and lsd at the same time.

I decided I won't get it, just seems like there's too much work to do on that part. So, not worth it right now.

are you kidding? it is totally worth getting! with your turbo plans...yeah, you need one more than most!

put it to you this way, p-tuning charged $750 to install a clutch and flywheel, and only another $250 to install the lsd. trust me, it will make the car launch alot better. not fool proof, but so far those that have it love it.

I have and I haven't gotten anything, which is why I'm in a bad mood.

I ordered the LSD, and then sent them an email saying nevermind, and now I want it. Ugh...

I don't know what to do about the shim and speedogear parts. Ask a dealer? And what the hell is a shim? LOL

I just feel like I could spend $1,250 on better stuff I guess

well take that into consideration and remember how much you are spending on your car so quickly.. don't boost on a budget.
