Default MAF Sensor and Metal Shavings

I finally got my Injen Intake (running it on short ram) installed in my '05 tC. It's working great and I love the sound. I was browsing the forums and I saw that people have been having problems with their MAF sensor. All I did when I installed mine was take it of the stock air box and screw it onto the intake. I'm a little concerned that I didnt do something, so I was wondering if there was anything in particular I was supposed to do. Also, When I first pulled the intake out of the box, I noticed that there was a ton of metal shaving still in it. I tried to wash it out, but it didnt do much, so i took a rag and tried to wipe the inside down as much as possible. I got the outer edges of the metal tubes totally clean, but I couldnt see or clean the middle. I dont think that theres much left, but could it cause a problem?

You should have cleaned the maf the right way and with care, the sensors are very sensitive and easily gets damaged.. there is a cleaner for that, but good luck hopefully you wont have problems with it
