back from getting coated with high temp coating from garrett.. next is powder coating the valve cover and swain tech coated JE Pistons and new intake manifold.. more pix soon to be posted..

east coast powder coating.. down by North East.. and possibly my block as well.. they hooking me up with a good deal..

Nice man. I want to get a lot of parts power coated, but i cant have my car down for that long.

no motor never went kaboom. trans went kaboom..

 

^^ bahaha.. need beefier tranny! any idea why it went?

 

blew third gear out.. too many third gear pulls.. but i got a new one with an LSD.. Put it together myself and out to spec.. so i'm good.. motor is in perfect condition.. but i got another set of JE's Swain Tech Coated. made a new down pipe and fabing out the rest of the exhaust system.. so if you know any one who wants to buy a p-tuning 3" exhaust i have one for sale. for a decent price too..

 

 

hey you have a unique TT manifold, thats the version 2 manifold that got replaced by the 2.1 very shortly

did you do the lsd and tranny at your house. if so what would u charge to put in a clutch and fly wheel

 

no i didn't put the trans together at my house but i will be installing it at my house.. I have a turbo kit to install on a friends tc.. and yes i've installed plenty of flywheels and clutches at my house, i've done the rs1's tranny, mine a couple of times, and a few others..

 

man, my tansmission is going bad too.

what were the symptoms that yours went bad?
