So what's the max I can boost a stock 09 motor. I've tried searching but only found max for supercharger and saw alot of different turbo setups.

 

at around 340whp id start looking for a spare block to build...


and as far as BOOST it all depends on size of turbo and how good your tune is....stock block 12 psi is where most would stop and look for a spare block or rods n pistons

 

On a desendants full kit it pre tuned what's the max I can up the psi. Not really planning a dyno right now (short on cash).

 

talk to mike (elevationtc) he has gone the furthest on stock block that i know of that is on the forum.

 

this isnt a factory turbo ca ru cant just up the boost and not retune...


everytime u wanna up the boost u gotta retune same goes for when u change your exhaust when turbo

im at 12 psi not and dont plan on boosting any higher untill i can afford to do a build

you might be close weezyf, i think you are knocking on 300whp range...

 

something else we need to no is if your running automatic or manual transmission...if your on an auto don't go past 7-8psi unless you build the tranny....on manual most do stop at 10-12psi

 

coryjames is at 360hp or 380 on a stock motor

it really not on how much boost.. its how much power the car handle on a good tune that doesnt detonate or preignite.. considering both tunes are good it doesnt matter much if you push 14 psi or 16 psi to reach a the breaking threshold of stock motor maybe its around 350-380 range.. oh bluesciontc i think did 400hp on stock motor i think it was 16 or 18 psi, then he built his motor

 

how long did blue's last? i know i was running 16psi on my stock motor but had a 57trim turbo
