what is the max horsepower i can get after i install my turbo with out replacing engine internals? i have the ptuning turbo kit. oh and i tried searching but no luck
depends on the dyno you are on really, but if you don't want it in the back of your mind on if the motor holds, I'd say 300whp is plenty. If you are like me and like to bring it to the edge, 330-350whp is what you may be looking for.
Listen, No more m-tuning love!!?
Original Poster..
Stay away from cft for FIC tuning.. my buddy got tuned there and they were pulling 12 degrees of timing at 9psi
and it wasint pretty!
Cft = standalones AMAZING

If you want to put it on the edge like some of us do...and disregard those who are afraid, then the edge would be 350-400whp on stock internals on a dyno jet. I personally push things, so I would throw the AEM meth kit from PTuning on there, and run it at 14lbs of boost.
Keep in mind PTuning ran the stock motor at 14lbs with the safety of 50/50 back it up and 93 oct gas for the entire 2008 Time Attack season. And if I recall, they made 330whp on THEIR dyno, which of all the tC's on here who have dynoed their cars at other places...PTuning's dyno has been the lowest reading of them all.
It's what we like to call...."A real man's dyno".
