I'm getting a S/C. (yey!)

I am also close to my 30k miles check-up. I have an auto 06. When it comes to performance/engines I'm a n00b I must admit it. Anyway, my dealership will install it. Just wondering what I should do/give them so that once the S/C is in all will be ok and good to go.

I was thinking of bringing the following:
- S/C and automatic fit kit (durrr)
- Synthetic oil (since I'm due fro an oil change too, royoal purple 10w40)
- Synthetic auto transmission fluid (was thinking of Royal Purple - anyone got comments on that?)
- TRD oil filter
- Power steering flush


Since I'm there and getting the S/C installed and I hit my 30k miles is there anything else I should tell them to check/do?

you will need to have a tank of premium automatically filled, royoal purple 10w40 oil for supercharger is what Im using, might wanna get power steering flush while ur at it.

 

When? before I drop the car off too?

 

correct empty it out completely and fill it with premium cause that will be aliantha's diet from now on :D

Also, since you have an '06...if you don't have your stock intake on, you're gonna need the top portion of the stock air box for the dealer to complete the install.

 

I haven't changed anything in the engine bay so I'm good no?

first I gotta switch back to the stockies

if we have time let's do that...when I get back from costa rica the MOMOs will come off and the stocks back on, i can leave the old tires on them and we can go test her out; then ill get winter tires

are you going to do any mods or leave it stock??

 

leave it stock =) need the warranty since my car already has noise issues with the injectors/valves

 

you'll get larger injectors with the kit. and since you got almost 30k on your tC your almost there.....

anyway i bet you will mod it.....its hard not too

you will want more after a month or 2

 

drivetrain warranty is until 60k miles not 36k :p

 

i don't know, claudia with more power...i'm kinda worried now...she might become even more corrupted than she already is...
