Jealous.... Riiiighhhhttt...

All I pointed out was you should pay attention to what your claims are before you actually do them, otherwise you end up looking like a douche. Don't worry, I'll stop bustin your *****, but be a man for a change. You counted your eggs before they could hatch, and you did worst... Run on Drag Radials and see what it do. Seeing as how your trying to compare to the two of us using DR's and stock motors. Being a few tenths slower and one mph slower I don't see as being a drawback for what I'm running. For you....well....

How about you post up your best 3 timeslips if you have a scanner.

PS....Don't worry though, I'm working on something.
mabey if you read through some of the prior posts you would see that im hitting the revlimiter (112mph) @ 1000'. seeing as your best ever trap was 109 i dont see how you think you can compare you car to mine.

here is a link to the page about jason lopes' tc. show me where it says stock differential.
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...girl&&start=20

Your trap was 110. 110 > 109 for sure. But what you have.... Should be a lot better than 110. 112 was on the old setup. So, go buy an LSD and run 12.5 and come back with new excuses.

My bad on the 10sec car, saw the Tranny said Stock, but then list LSD right under it. Still does not let you off the hook. 12.0 and 12.1 respectably on stock and non stock diff's. Your explanations I'm having a problem with. You also mentioned the car falling on it's face? Why is that when you were dyno tuned? What changed your tune during the time you swapped the clutch (that was probably a perfectly good working clutch).

Run it from a Dig. As its just a matter of tire compound difference.

^^I'm sure the day we all cross paths won't be anytime soon...LOL. So, all we got is Time. I'm working on a mix matching some turbine and compressor housings. When I get that spec'ed out, we will give a few test runs.

Does travis get to Brake Boost!?

Anywyas, I don't mean to break up the b!tch fest, but I have a question for you, Brett:

Did you get the rigid series 0420 clutch or the 1420 clutch? I noticed it is sprung, but according to Comp's website, the 0420 has a much harsher engagement then the 1420.

um sorry but it didn't take me built motor,2 turbo kits, and slicks to run 12.79 @106mph hmmmm i mean if you think i don't know what i'm talking about good keep thinking but i do believe that i will run 11's on BFG = street tires/DOT radials and stock diff, oh and don't forget the stock motor mounts with the backup of "stiffy" thats right i know it sounds alil old school but yea i will do it. But i do know that upgrading all that stuff to better stuff will result in better numbers.

P.S
wasn't busting your ***** just trying to get away from excuses ok if something wasn't working right then just say DRIVER ERROR

ok travis. is obvious that you're just out to try and discredit me. i thought i had allready explained this but i'll try again. the reason that the car fell on its face was the fact that when i launched, the tires had low psi and too much grip. i launched the same way every time. after each pass i let psi out of the tires. each time my 60' got progessively worse. next time i go, the plan is to run about 14 psi so that i have less grip. if i can get the tires to break loose a little then my rpms wont drop. as the tires spin they should catch enough to give me a decent launch, and still let the rpms climb so that the car doesnt fall on its face. as for my trap. when i hit the revlimiter at 1000' i have two choices. stand on it for 2 seconds, or shift to 5th. since shifting is pointless its pretty much not an option. and since i dont want to stand on the revlimiter that long, i let off. if you still doubt me after this i still dont care. im not out to impress travis.

as far as excusses go you really dont have any room to talk. you blame your crap time of mid 13's on a set of "bald" dr's. yet when you let louis use those same tires he was able to shave sevrel tenths off his 1/8 mile time. so next time you wanna run your mouth about someones time. make sure you are faster than them.

shouldnt you be making some donut vids, or braging about your martial art skills? why dont you go start a thread about how pie mei taught you the five point palm exploding heart tecnique.

I believe he has the same as me which is the sprung. I know I went with the sprung cuz it's supposed to be better for everyday driving.

yeah, I saw the pic back on page 5 or 6 and saw the springs. I wasn't sure if the 0420 was avialble in 2 models (sprung and unsprung) and that the 1420 used a different compund, or if the only difference between the 2 is that the 1420 is sprung and the 0420 is unsprung.
I was not correlating "rigid" to "unsprung" I was thinking they ment the surface compound.

I just need to decide on a clutch and want one I can slip into, not a total on/off type thing.

I'm really only posting in this thread for purely selfish reasons! I couldln't give a $hit how anyone elses stuff is running!

j/k

yeah, I guess I'm wondering if the stage 4 would give me any more drivability, as it's still a puck style, but a 6 instead of a 4. but it'll hold less. I really only need it to hold 350 for awhile.
