Default more than one supercharger?

Is there any company that makes a supercharger for the TC other than TRD? I know that HKS was in the process of making a rotrex supercharger for the tc. TRD is great and all but I know that there will be more power with these aftermarket superchargers. So do you guys know of any company out there that allready produced one or is in the process of one? Thanks

It is only a matter of time. TRD is the only one out right now, but just give it some time and you will see other kits as well

400 horsepower in this car... do you understand how much it would cost to get ALL of the supporting mods to run something like that?

People have pushed over 500hp.. but they found the weak points quickly. In any lower cost 4 banger (expecially FWD) you are looking at a lot of other mods quickly with those numbers.. not to mention one hard to drive car on the street!

On the tC at those numbers you are looking at clutch, axles, and a tranny after some time, not to mention to be smart about it you would want to sleeve and replace some of the internals.

I would love to see a roots type charger come out for it.. but with the way everything is mounted that would be tough I think

agreed, it would be super tight if not impractical to mount a roots with the intake manif being in the back of the engine.

Well if anyone has some inside leaks or rumors about people making another supercharger you should post it here. Give us something to drool over.

RIPP Mods is a no go.

As of now, we have not looked into developing a supercharger for the scion tc. If we do decide to we will post it up on the boards.

Remember, creating a supercharger is something that takes a lot of time as well as a lot of money to develop. We create superchargers when we feel there is a high demand from a certain group of individuals that drive a certain vehicle.

I like how it says "We create superchargers when we feel there is a high demand from a certain group of individuals that drive a certain vehicle." when there is ONE supercharger out there and people say how disappointed they are with the numbers for whatever reason. Hell the numbers that those guys get are awesome IMO. I just want some options when I choose my supercharger. Plus they can include the FMIC that everyone wants to get, a brand new computer (thats not just a reflash), maybe some braided fuel lines, a new fuel pump.... starting to sound good to me.

^^ Doubt it.

I wish that a Roots type blower would fit, SC whine on a tC FTW!

I doubt anyone else is going to make a S/C for the tC. It really wouldn't make sence for them to make one to be honest. Especially when it could effect your warranty and cost more than the TRD S/C. It would be nice to see one though.

It would be nice if a company would actually make hardpipes for the TRD, and toss the rubber hose/pipes. I think RIPP would be able to do that with ease.
