I ordered my GReddy Kit and a bunch of other stuff. I decided to make this thread to show my adventures in getting the kit and other parts to go along with it. I love pics and videos and love when others post similar topics with pics and videos so expect a lot. Hopefully others looking into getting a kit can find this helpful and/or entertaining. I'll keep this updated as I get new things and hear new things.

7-13-06: I found out my kit will be shipped tomorrow but the emanage is backordered. I did get my AEM wideband in today. I took some pics, sorry for the quality.

7-16-06: I got my exhaust manifold gasket yesterday.



7-18-06: I got the kit today! I still need the option 1. I went throught the kit and didn't have any paper work (instructions, part list, ect). I sent an email over to Pathik at pracing.com (where I got it) so I'm sure he'll take care of it. Anyway, here's some pics. I can't find my digital cam so I have to take these with my didgital video cam which the pictures suck. When I do find my cam I'll take better pics. I'll also be the first to have a video of the GReddy kit. I'll post that in a few.

8-24-06: Ok, after waiting for my option 1 for a while and getting the wrong one, I got the right stuff yesterday. I'm now waiting on my gauge pod which I fogot about while waiting for the option 1 and that will take 5-7 days. Here's some pics of the other stuff I hadn't put pics up of. HKS BOV, HKS BOV Flange, Dezod PnP harness, Denso IK22 Spark Plugs, Autometer Cobalt Boost/VAC 20PSI and Oil PSI, and my option 1 package.

8-29-06: While still waiting for my last part to come in (my gauge pod) I went ahead and ordered the GReddy pressure sensor. After reading a few things on here and a little more research, I found that I'll get a better tune by having this and I want car running as good as posibble. I now know there's no way this thing will get in before NOPI.


9-28-06: Ok, I think I'm ready for the install. I got back from vacation and my pressure sensor was waiting for me. I also got the last and final part, the cc gauge pod but not from creative compacts (thanks zer0). In fact I got an email from them on the 14th saying a tracking number was to follow that day and it's the 28th with no tracking number. I canceled my order on the 24th and heard nothing. I don't know what's going on over there but they need to get on the ball. Anyway, I'll get everything together this weekend and make sure everything is good to go and call and make my appointment. Oh crap, need oil and filter, guess I'll get that this weekend. More to come with pics of these last two parts.


10-18-06: Appointment for install/tune is set for the 13th of Nov at Titan Motorsports.


11-13-06: Car is was dropped off at Titan Motorsports about 12pm. :D


11-16-06: Picking car up tomorrow at 11am!!!


11-17-06: Picked up car and it's awesome! The power is there and runs nice and smooth. The dyno read 235whp but going to see if there was another. More on page 8.

Ok, I added a pic of the manifold gasket that I got yesterday. The biggest update is cleaning the pics up to make them nice. Now there are thumnails that you can click on and open bigger pics if wanted. When I get the turbo I'll take better pics of everything with my real digital cam.

For those that know HTML, I hand coded that and clicked preview to find it didn't work. I went back and double checked everything about three times cuz I hadn't hand coded in years and find out I can't do HTML. So I had to redo it using the bbcode which was fun to learn.

Oh damn; you're probably going to have your turbo on before I get mine. 'Pokes ZPI's slow shipping.' I can't wait to see the outcome; I'll be watching this thread. ^_^
