yeah that was all we could get out of the kit started running to the end of the volumetric effeciency of the turbo

bottom line is 7.5 bad tune
middle 7.5 good tune
top 10psi

Wow, that dyno reads very low. But still good power. What does a stock tC make on Dyno Comp's dyno?

not sure what stock runs there but they do call it the "heartbreaker dyno" runs somewhere around 10% lower i believe

Yeah that Dyno Comp dyno is for sure the heartbreaker. Kelly dyno'd there on our kit with 7.5 PSI...See graph below!

same #'s i hit with mine at 7.5psi however my kit is now pretty much at it's limit at 10psi we tried raising the boost but gains were negligable so we brought it back down. I would say yours has some room to grow.

That HP curb paints the picture very well. My car feels that way-hits hard early and then it sort of runs out of steam at the upper RPM range, but it's sure fun around town. Good numbers for an 18G.

A bigger turbo or Cams, valvetrain work will get you some more HP.

Almost all of the kits make about the same HP levels at 6-8 PSI. It is over and above that where most of these variations come along.

I would definitly consider another turbo. She really ran out of steam hard in the top end... Looks more like a turbo picked for an oem application... all midrange. Looks like she spools very very quickly though... Would make things fun at an auto x and make it really fun for just daily driving... Always cracks me up looking at the nice power curves of a turbo kit vs the ski ramp that my sc produces. Good stuff man

All turbos will look like that on our car due to the heads and cams. The 18G is a good match to our cars and should make an easy 350whp with heads and cams while still providing good spoolup.
