I'll like to see the numbers you put out with the Stroker kit. Hope you get video on dyno

that looks *s0*$!cK*, what are your goals? (hp, track, reliability, etc..)
|
300-350 whp street, 400+ whp track (whatever I can keep traction), 550-600 max hp (not changing anything just what my current fuel system, turbo, and engine management can handle). Its built for reliability, it will be tracked occasionally, more with sponsors.

that's a nice build! May I suggest going down on the thickness of the tranny oil. Eventually you might encounter shifting problems with that thick of an oil. The 75W90 severe gear will have plenty of protection being a thick 90w GL-5 oil. Also being lighter than the 140w will help with the cooling in the transmission. If anything, at least give the 110w a shot.
Good luck man! |
can't do, the gear oil weight is O.S. Giken's recommendation also remember REM treatment reduces friction thus reducing heat.

Shop ordered 6 shims for valve lash adjust, all the rest were within spec, will have shims by Wednesday, then goal is to have car running and breaking in by Friday.

very nice build...love that manifold...who did the trans work? and is it a e350 or 351?
|
Its the factory transmission, shop in Georgia sent the transmission to a speciallist there, I am not sure who though.

u got it man. good luck.

Thats one thing I've learned after being a mechanic for 15 years if you are unsure or instructions are unclear call the manufacturer and ask. BC has a very helpful tech support.
