Default MY NEW SETUP!!!!!!!!!

I had got my turbo installed but the shop that hooked me up couldnt fabricate the maf sensor so i was stuck with the stock air box . So i got tired of it so the guys at HIGH END motorsports gave me a good deal on this....

The only problem is you can tell in one of the pics that the box does exactly fit the way its suppose to because of the strut bar. This is amazing makes the car sound SOOOOOOOO much better. If anyonbe out there is looking to get the ARC i highly recommend it.

FYI: Many Toyotas with aftermarket oil caps have experienced head gasket issues when turbo'd.

Even though poor tuning and dentonation are the number one issues for headgasket failures, many more have been documented lately.

The radiator cap is what controls the cooling system indirectly. If you raise the pressure that the cap will bleed off excess pressure then that much extra pressure beyond the factory rating will be in the system. When you increase system pressure the boiling point of coolant rises. When coolant is at boiling point it will over come cap pressure and bleed off into the recovery tank. If the pressure of the cap is higher than said factory specifications then the system pressure and temperature has to be higher in order for it to bleed off into the recovery tank to overcome the higher pressure rating of the new radiator cap.

we sell just the MAF flange for $165 this on a 2.5" or 3"radius then you would just need someone to weld it in for you and you can get rid of the big box and just get a filter.

Where did this come from?... :? I see a TRD Oil cap in the pics, I don't see any radiator cap anywhere in any of the pics.

Id just like to ask what you plan to do if and when you get pulled over and a cop asks to look under your hood? I mean all he needs is probable cause and you have to let him. All of that ____ is totally illegal right? Im asking because i was recently pulled over and i got cited for my header an intake. I cant imagine the list of fines you would get for a setup like that. By the way you have got a beautiful set up under that hood.

looks nice but i dont like the ARC box, they work great with the hood up on a dyno, but on the street they actually lose power due to ease of heat soak from the sponge like design of the filter, you might have better luck but im just sayin

other then that everything looks nice

oil cap causing BHG's lol.

also to be technical for every 1psi of pressure on the cooling system your raise the boiling point by 3 degrees.

I know that for cars at the drag strip (11's or better) you need to have a 20lbs cap for your radiator. I don't know what the stock setup up holds and I don't know what the TRD radiator cap holds so I'm still in the dark as to what I should change them out for.

most stock toyota rad caps are .9 bar about 13psi. i think the trd one is 1.1bar or about 16psi.

why would you need a 20lbs cap? all that is doing is raising the boiling point of the coolant. if your coolant system is maintained and up to par a stock rad cap is perfectly fine. if your really worried about running hot, get a better radiator and/or cooling fans.

why would you even need to fabricate a maf flange?

dont you have a 2005?

also, ZPI, what exactly are you selling, maf flange for the 07's?

This thread is from 2/15/06. His tC was traded in for a TSX months ago, and IIRC the turbo kit has been sold twice.
