Default My old poor build

Ok so I got some news on the car today, still tearing down the engine. So far the block has been welded inside the timing cover near cylinder #1, the nut was missing on the oil pump (gear would have come off given some time, two cam caps were missing the alignment dowls and the cam bearing are shot. At least the cams are ok, the block will be looked at tomorrow. The transmission seal was leaking, one of the axles were missing the c-clip, and various bolts were loose. WTF.

Lethal injection motorsports in Atlanta. I only sent the car to get checked cause its pushing coolant out the overflow at wot. Now I find out the real issues.

Counter balance shaft delete done improper and oil passage not plugged. Rod bearing #4 took bad abuse, thank goodness the crank and rods are good. Piston and block, and head going to machine shop for measuring. Rod bearings bad, needs new piston rings, and honed cylinders.

Yea that is crazy. The motor they built for j3st3r spun a bearing after 30 mins as well right? I definitely would ask for some sort of refund. I genuinely do hope the new shop you are working with goes well. I think youve gone through enough with Todd first and now this shop.

Haven't even bothered, I couldn't get a hold of them when they had the car. I was almost at the point of loosing hope for the car until I talked to the shop that has the car now.
