Default my s/c setup

so i get my s/c and my other stuff put into my tc and its a complete diaster.i asked ray from turbo tek in philly to put everything in and he gave me a price of $650 for install and tune. so when i drop it off i get a call a couple days later saying that everything is installed and he cant tune my car since his laptop was effed up which i find was bs. so i ended up paying $500 and when i get the car it seemed find and then i showed my boys at autogrpagh cars in philly they laugh at me and say my setup was trash. this tuner from philly dyno laughs and says the setup is a joke. i had wires everywhere and it was so bad. so now i have to pay my dude from autograpgh cars to redo everyhting right and tune my car. im so mad right now.as u can tell the wires for my meth kit was all over the place and yea

the supercharger isn't trash, just the installation. btw, what is wrong with you? my dealership installs the trd supercharger for $600 dollars flat, why on earth would you pay some idiot $650 when he flips it up like this?

seriously, dude, when installing something that can do so much harm to your engine like a turbo or supercharger, don't cheap out, and get it done right.

Flip TST? Im just trying to show another side of the story then yours as the people will not realize you went into this with little or no knowledge of the kit, missing parts, not specific parts for the tc, wasnt even able to tell Turbo Tek Tuning the injector size of the kit, And instead of leaving the car there you demanded it back so fast and drove around untuned on a 12lb pulley with a hole in the charge pipe from where the meth was tapped into

Its not right to post a thread like this and not inform the people of all the information it makes you look bad, just like how immature you and your friends acted in dealing with this situation....Eventually leading to you getting Banned from the Forum

Look is sucks but Turbo Tek Tuning worked with what you gave them and that was an incomplete kit that seems you had no knowledge about, just as any shop you go to is only goign to be able to work with what you gave them....

Its only right to post the thread from TST about your story, and response from the tuner!!

Lol.. I just read the whole thread over there. and I am gonna have to go against you. If a shop ____ied up my car or I was pleased with how things were going. I would not leave and I would make em fix it to my liking as I just spent my hard earned money on the install.

But, wait. Why not just install it yourself like most people on here. That way you woulda seen your missing crap and only person you could blame it on would be your self and not anyone else. Thats how I see it.

But yea the installation of the meth kit was very shott but thats the least of your worries. Seems to me like your boost happy driving a untuned car with capabilities of going to 12psi. Big nono.. Atleast go get the trd supercharger reflash at the dealership. Then it will be a lil better running.

Yeah, seriously, I can't believe you paid $650 for a shop that wouldn't even be able to offer you any kind of warranty. I had my s/c installed at a dealer for under $600 with a tune & I have a warranty on it.

PLUS, first off, were you going for a custom tune? If so, what were you planning on using? Secondly, if the guy said he'd be able to tune it with the module that came with the s/c then he's full of sh*t cuz you need a special tool in order to be able to use that module therefore, unless he paid around $800 out of pocket just to be able to use it on your car, he wouldn't be able to do it.

Your goign to have to go against me? If you read the thread and didnt just browse it, you would see their lack of knowledge and impatientence, the tuner stated he would work on the tune if he could continue to keep the car, thats a big problem right there you took it away from he without it being finished

As for the Meth kit TTT stated the kit was short with everything and the placement and wiring was worked with what he was provided....

Im not trying to flame you but i mean come on most of this is on you here man

If you where a shop would you give a warrenty on something someone came in with a used s/c kit missing parts where they had to run out of there way to get in order to finishing the install and ask the owner to be allowed to keep the car, but he wanted the car back untuned on a 12lb pulley to drive back to where OH from NE Philly.....Good Luck

Kiss yours was done at a dealership, probably a new kit, you think a shop is going to warrenty used parts they have no idea in what condition they are in, i could take in a blown turbo to get installed and when it goes to tune etc, am i going to blame them? How can I?

Ah, the kit was used? I missed that point. Yeah, I would never ever ever ever ever purchase a supercharger/turbo used, eff that. So yeah, mine was brand new.

i told him the kit was used. i told him i need my kit installed and tuned and i told him i had a meth kit 12 psi pulley gauges 12 psi pulley and yeah. so when me and my brother show up hes like o whos putting in ur meth kit and ur gauges and i was like u and then he was like u didnt say that and i was like i did and then he was like ill see how far i can go. . so i told him i need the car back on wednesday and he sed ok it should be done wednesday before thanksgiving. and he sed ok he can do it. so he puts everything together and then gives me a call and hes like o i cant tune ur car my computer is effed up and he told me earlier when i called him to check the statues that he sed he put my car on hold to tune another car. so i was like ok.then he tells me hes going to ny for thanksgiving and i was like ok. ill get the car toget somebody to tune it because i was leaving friday morning to go back to ohio. so i get the car and as im driving to bring my car to nj on the highwayh the car felt like it was dieing. so i was like ok ____ im dropping it off in south philly at my cousins house .so i did that and on the way there my car stalls like 8 times. so the next day i bring it to my dues shop and everybody there laughed and said the setup was complete trash. so the guy mark that tunes cars told me to just get it redone right so i was like ok i will get it redont right. and for the toyota dealerships i asked them to do it and they told me they didnt install a s/c before but they could do it and i rather not be the test dummy with them.also i told them i had the 12 psi pulley and they told me they rather not put it in becuase some regulations or something. as for TST i dint tell anyone to say ____ about TTT so yea before u get all worked up u need to relax and u wouldnt get the sitution unless u were there in person for everything.
