Default My Treadstone Kit

So I finally got my Treadstone kit installed. I got the kit with the upgraded Turbonetics (TRE503 on the Treadstone site). I meant to have the installer fix the piping so the bumper wouldn't need to be cut but apparently I wasn't explicit enough. They actually did a nice job cutting the holes, my dad didn't even realize it wasn't like that before. I still have a couple issues to work out, the driver side radiator fan is unplugged because the turbo is in the way and the bov stutters because I'm only running 5psi. I also used a smaller intercooler than came with the kit to avoid cutting the crash bar but I might use the one from the kit soon because the intake pipes are pretty hot. When I get the other intercooler installed I'll be fixing the piping on the left side to match the right, changing the radiator fans, and swapping the Greddy BOV to an HKS with recirc. Let me know if you guys have questions, I had plenty before installing the kit w/o ems but I'm happy it worked out.

Before and After dyno.

Grats on the boost but I've never been a fan of the charge pipes on that kit.

Also, I know tuners might be scarce in NH, but when you get the new injectors and engine management, you should try to find a tuner with a better dyno. That dyno doesn't show any rich/lean spots in the AFR because it uses a smoothing algorithm.

Kinetic Motorworks (used to be Trick Engineering) was recommended to me by Joe from Dezod.

Get a engine management, 550cc injectors and a tune next, aswell as a intercooler.. u can easily find a cheap one on ebay that are as big as the dezod ones. BTW is that a LEGIT greddy type RS or a fake? if its legit and in working order ill trade u my HKS that i got with my Dezod kit.. im kinda in the mood for somethin new

I'm not doubting the tuner or the shop. It's the dyno that sucks. It doesn't show any imperfections (which ARE there) and it uses a smoothing factor to 'hide' these imperfections. You could have a ultra lean spike somewhere, and that dyno wouldn't show it because it would smooth it out. Plus having the AFR range from 0-40 causes it to smooth it out even more. It's essentially the same effect as zooming out.

^^he said its undersized and his pipes are getting pretty hot whic is going to happen but cooling is one of the most essential parts to boosting. if anything get dezods that comes with there kits its small but thick and u dont have to cut the crash bar.

im sure the intercooler that TurboToyotas offers will work as well. The pipes are always gona get hot, its being baked by the engine afterall...

Yes it's a real Greddy BOV. If it's not I'll kill Treadstone. The intercooler I'm using is from Turbo XS. I still have the Treadstone one in the box.
