Check it out a custom setup no kits here. This is being done by one of my friends that have been doing this stuff for years here in Miami. His name is Brendon check out his website at www.psiracing.com Nice Big fast spooling ball bearing turbo. It is a T-04 60 trim turbo. Should be done this week all that is left to do is the downpipe, plumbing and mount the intercooler I will post more pics when it is done. I will be putting an AEM computer or another stand alone EMS (that one is a secret ) in about 3-4 months. I am going to run around 13-14psi when the computer is done. Right now I will be running about 8psi we will see what kind of numbers it puts up.

That looks like a very large turbo. You will have to report back on if it is very laggy or not. Good luck.

 

This thing will start to boost around 3500 rpms remember it is ball bearing faster spool up time. Its all in the config of the turbo the (back wheel)..We have one of these on a SRT- 2.4L engine also it boosts super fast I even considered going a little larger on the back wheel because that SRT boosted so fast with low compression pistons.

 

all these turbo kits look alike nowadays...

psiracing put a big nasty turbo on a tacoma 2rz , with stock internals @ 15lbs he made 383whp and ran 11.60s and the truck is still running . I have seen quite a few things brendon has made and everything was fast as ____ .

 

yea I have spoke with Brendan in the past...we shared some knowledge with eachother on boosting the 1nz...I still havent seen one of his xB/xA kits in action, but it sounded pretty promising. Looks good bro...congrats
