I have downloaded a base map from Dezod and the problem that i am having is in first and second at about 2000 to 3500 rpm at partial throttle the car jerks and it is really noticable to me. The last map i had did not do that but was running very lean. I want a good map or something to try. If anyone knows how to fix this problem or has a good map i could start with let me know. Please

 

dude if your gonna boost you need a good tune...the base map from dezod is just that A BASE for someone to tune off of, not to run all the time.

 

Well no kiding... This is not my first stroll in the park with turbo charging and tuning cars. I cant get the tune done for another month or so and im pretty sure even on a base map the car is not supposed to jerk like crazy. I mean if your not going to have anything productive to really say then dont bother posting a reply becasue all your doing is waisting my time.

 

What system do you have? I have a map for AEM Standalone if that is what you need. It was tuned for my car but you will have to modify it for yours.

 

I have the Emanage Ultimate.

 

the base map is something for you to drive to the tuner....for safety....the tuner will then modify it to his liking and THEN start doing pulls.......whats your email and ill send you one of my many maps

 

Lol it's probably jerkig cause it's to rich!!! A base map is rich so it can make it to a tuner. A base map is not to daily drive but hey good luck and gingles wasn't wasting your time he was informing you of what a base map is for. And just so you know every tune is different. All has to do with weather, elevation, fuel, ignition, air flow maps, what set up you have, injctors and so on. I can send you my map and I can tell you it works for me but won't work for you cause I'm boostin alot more and hav bigger injectors then you. Alot of things come into factor.

 

Yea i understand the point in the base map. I have ran base maps in the past to get me to the tuner and i just have never had them just my car like it does now. I apologize for coming off rude. Im running a ZPI turbo kit with a mitsubishi 20G Turbo and 550cc injectors on the emanage ultimate and a stainless steel full exhaust system

 

I tried using the dezod base map and it sucked I had to make a lot of adjustments just for it to be close to being safe.

 

If you had an FIC I could send you the one im using now.

 

omfg.....guys....the base map....is designed to be rich.....rich...i say again...rich. the reason being is because it is only designed to get you to the tuner....of course your going to have to make adjustments to it...because its a base map....its like a house. you lay your foundation(base map) and then build on top of it. i dont know how i can make it any clearer.

 

hey jar do you have a wideband? and if so when it sputters or jerks what are your afr's at? check that if it really lean or rich just adjust it yourself till you get tuned!

 

yea no wide band........... It sucks my buddy had one but sold it a few weeks ago.

No Cel and im not beating it.lol i know better then that for the most part. I have not driven the car but maybe 5 miles a day tops and thats pu**y footing it. only a partial throttle it does it. when i get on it it just goes

 

park the car... untill u get the money to get tuned... i installed my kit and was gonna get tuned a week later.. my plugs got destroyed they ost 50$ if u dont get tuned kiss ur motor goodbye and please tell me u have gauges?

 

Ok even at partial throttle it being lean you can mess the car up. And if its rich as well plan on buying new plugs. But if you haven't gotten a cel I don't think it's thAT bad. Whn are you planing to get tuned? And by who?
