Need Help with fi/c
Does anyone know how to scale down injectors for a fi/c base map ? I have a base map but it is for larger injectors and is pulling more fuel than I would need to pull. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
Simply adjust the negative values in the fuel map more toward positive.
Example, if it's at -65, try -45 and go from there. If you have the size of the new injectors, post up and I will go ahead and tell you around the exact point for a 14.7:1 adjustment.

Paul, wouldnt you say get the main fuel map set up first and then tweak with the o2 map? Im stressing the wideband cause these things can be a bit of a PITA to tune without being able to log the AFR cause logs are all you have to go by since there is no map trace

Make sure you make a backup of the map first because as soon as you make the change it writes it to the map and you can't go back.
What kind of fuel would you I should be adding up top and pulling with 400cc injectors?
Also I am having problems right now with the stock ecu, this is what it does. With the stock injectors in when you drive and take it out of gear and your foot off the gas and let the rpms drop to idle it dumps a ton of fuel in and stalls. So when ever I come to a light or stop it stalls out. It did this with the trd injectors at first so we thought that they where too big and pulled them out and reset the ecu with the stock injectors and still have the same problem ?

just cruising and then take it out og gear, the a/f cruising are good just when I take my foot off the gas they go crazy rich then lean and bounce around. I have not gone into boost yet I am still breaking in the turbo. Maybe the maf is dirty ? or it could be the maf placement, it is a sri that drops below the battery and I used the Injen maf holder which gets smaller (2.5") where the maf is and goes back to 3". At this point if the car cant run right with the stock ecu and injectors I don't think I will be able to get it to run right with the fi/c either which I have not hooked it up yet.

As for the maf I ha d a full open bov on my s/c and it ran fine, so I guess the n/a ecu is more sensative. either way I'll have the fi/c in tomorrow and do some data logging and tweaking from there. The thing that sucks for me is the closest fi/c tuner is like 3 hours away.
Okay so I got the fi/c in and a basemap scaled for my injectors, the map is idling at 12:1 way too rich so when I try to pull fuel on a laptop it goes closer to 14:7 but then goes back to 12:1 ? I pulling in the fuel map only but it seems like I have to change values in the o2 map also ?
Also the maf is supposed to be clamped which I though was causing the stalling after taking my foot of the gas pedal but it is still stalling out. Even though the maf is clamped can it still cause problems ?
