I'm looking to try out various FIC base maps per the specifications below:

information on my car::
custom turbo kit with T3/T4 turbo (intercooled)
AEM FIC
550 cc injectors
tuned @ 10 psi

Yeah Mike aka ElevationTC is the man for the job. Don't expect people to send you free tunes though. For whatever reason, they are closely guarded around here lol.

 

The tunes people pass out for free are usually junk and not worth it.. 50.00 buys you a pretty slammin base map these days

do you have paypal? if so send Elevation TC a message on here and get his. and send him the 50$ + 3% paypal fee's so what 55$? trust me it's worth it. im on his basemap now and it run's perfect

Why don't you get your car tuned by someone familiar with the FIC and just get it over with?

IMO...running a exprimental base map on your turbo kit is flirting with death.

for example...Who's to say some _______ didnt posted up something bad just for their own amusement. Going even further...what if you load this in your car, pull out on the street to test it and your car blows up...who would you blame it on them or yourself for exprimenting someone else's tune on your car?

i trust elevation 100%. and he is familiar witht he fic. and i AM going to him in a week or so. and i would not run the basemap on my car if the number's were not right. and ive only hit boost once or twice in 3rd gear. and afr's stuck at 11.6 so TY

 

another $50 would buy you time on a dyno to do it right...why be cheap & risk destroying your car?

If you have invested the time & money into a turbo system for your car why wouldn't you invest the money in having a professional tune it to perfection?

 

I'm not actually going to upload the map into my car right away,
a local tuner will do all that. I don't know the first thing on how to tinker with the AEM FIC. I'll leave that to the professionals my friend.
