Default Need turbo help PLEASE!!

Hey guys I know NOTHING about turbos so I need some help.. This guy has a turbo for sale, brand new in box never used BUT he said it's a 5 speed manual turbo but it will work just fine on my automatic... in that case why would they make a turbo specifically for manual and automatic.. is this true??

this is what hes got for $500, worth it? and more importantly will it even work? is he telling the truth about the manual trans turbo working on auto?

+1. First thing that came to mind while reading...."Cheap Ebay stuff". Their descriptions are always generic.

dont do the ebay kit. especially since you aren't familiar with them. it'll work but you have to modify, fab and adapt it to your car. 98% the wastegate is set for 6psi which is nothing rilly you can detonate your motor if you're not careful, dont know what the turbo internals are made of, more than likely cheap stuff from china. save more for a dezod or ptuning kit at least someone with a rep in the auto world.

+2 also the automatic tranny is fragile and if you know nothing about turbos this could spell trouble for your car.
