You can adjust torque and horsepower without a turbo with this. Great buy!

now as for the turbo im getting mixed reviews. ive talked to people on here selling kits both ran them on stock motors for awhile making little over 300hp. now on my local forum i brought the same question into play and they all say it would be a waste to invest the money into the turbo set up now and would be better to build the motor first then turbo for the same reults. there saying on a stock motor itll blow it up trying to make 300hp

well yeah coming over from hondas the thought of running a turbo set up on a stock motor was un heard of of. as for building the toyota motor is a full bottom end rebuild needed or is it the top end of the motor that is the weak spot

the weak point is the top ring of the pistons around 350whp, dependent of setup and tune. swap the pistons and rods and cometic gasket for more.

If you just want 300 whp on a dynojet, go 10 psi with a good tuner and you'll never have to crack the casing open for any internal work. If you beat the hell out of any car, it will fail sooner. It all depends on how you drive and the accuracy of the tune. EGT's will kill piston rings if too high but that goes for any cars. In regards to Honda's. They are not designed optimally to accept forced induction. They don't have much stroke so a motor rebuild is practically mandatory to go boost. I've heard it time and time again that my car will blow up (coming from blown motor Honda guys) because it's stock.

This platform is very unique and can handle up to 350 whp when tuned properly. If you put slicks on it every weekend, expect a rod to bend but if you just spin street tires, you're just burning rubber instead. It's all about your long term goals man.
