Default New belt for smaller SC pulley

Hey guys, i went up to my local auto store and told them the part number for the belt that everyone is buying after getting the smaller pulley.. but they weren't able to find it. Does anyone have any more detailed info on the belt, ie: what car/truck its for to help me try and find it?

Thanks again!

If you're running a smaller pulley from ZPI the goodyear gatorback probably won't work. I tried it and it didn't work, it was too small. I found another belt that works with the ZPI pulley so if you need it I can try and find it. It's a poly cog just like the goodyear but cheaper and fits with the ZPI.

I'll get that for you tonight. If you don't mind me asking how much was your battery kit from ZPI?

the gatorback belt worked-it's a little annoying to put on, but it stretches to fit.

My dad and I both worked on it and it wouldn't work. Maybe I got a smaller one or something but there was no way it was going on mine

2260mm is the length you want. Or 2265 longest with either pulley. This number is usually on the package...

And of course I reccomend the NST pulley as you will have it in a very quick fashion as opposed to the other pulley on the market that they mine the metal first, then process the metal, then send it off to be machined, then mabey someday it will arrive to you..

I think the 2260 is a good fit. This is the same as K070890.

Does NST's pulley *require* a belt change, or can you use the one that comes with the SC?

smaller pullies require a belt change no matter if it is NST or ZPI.

Is it true that the s/c's link with the other pulleys?
I don't know what this means.

loosen tensioner by putting a wrench on it and pulling, then slide belt off. Pretty simple. Hardest part is getting a wrench in there that is long enough to get leverage on and not hit anything that is in the way.

Anyone know what boost level the zpi pulley produces anyway? It just says on their website it increases the HP by 21HP, and allows you to run more boost. That's generic.

FWIW, I used a 2265 length Gatorback, works fine.
