Will you be shipping these clutches as options on your turbo kits or do you still recommend the ACT Street Clutch?

We will be offering them as an option on the kit. One of our tCs is already rocking a stage 4 (scottsdaletc). I am sure he will post the review shortly.

What would you recommend for a 250-300whp car with minimal change in pedal feel?

Stage 3 or higher, but all are going to have some pedal change because of composition of the material and ability to withstand some abuse.

Stage 3 Segmented Kevlar 150-200% over stock torque capacity.
*Requires 500 mile break-in. 30% over stock pedal feel with 20% over stock engagement.

Stage 4 Six pad Ceramic 250-300% over stock torque capacity.
*40% over stock pedal feel with 30% over stock engagement

Stage 5 Four pad Ceramic 250-300% over stock torque capacity.
*40% over stock pedal feel with 40% over stock engagement.

I'm venturing to say that the "other" company's clutch is made by the same manufacturer. Since it's the same exact clutch plate pictured on both threads... Looking closely ,the marks and production blemishes match.

Nice to see a company cutout the BS with the "exclusive" name brand stuff

But whos to say its the same company since the "other" company designed their "private label clutch".

Dezod...

I'd say the stage 3 is the closest to ACT. I say it because that's the highest torque capacity I've seen running a disc rather than puck. I think both are great clutches, but after sporting an ACT for 3 different cars now I think we all know my preference. To each it's own though! Comp Clutch is still a great company.
