The other day www.speed-element.com used my car to test fit some parts and the owner asked me if is a demand for a True 3'' exhaust. I said yes as long as the price is right. The exhaust will be made by Tsudo, so you know it will be good quality with an even better price.
I'm here to ask what are you guys looking for in an exhaust?
Do you want dual exhaust? No mufflers just resonators? How big of a Tip would you like? How big of a resonator do you want? What muffler would you like?
The exhaust will be a true 3 inch exhaust, meaning that some modification MIGHT need to be done to make it fit. Mostly dealing with the exhaust heat shields. Its not for sure that modification would need to be done, but the exhaust shop said that it MIGHT need to be done. We just want to know if this would bother potential buyers enough not to purchase the exhaust.
I hope to get a lot of feedback on this, Post up any suggestions you might have
Thanks

What turned me off of the tsudo exhaust was the angle and massive muffler. To me, it doesn't look all that great unless accompanied by a rear lip or new bumper, like with a body kit. I think you would get a LOT of sales if you used a smaller canister that sits straight, though it would be dificult to bend a 3" to make that work. If not that, a 3" round tip and 8" resonator would be good as well.

What about this:
You guys offer a 3" exhaust specified by each individual customer. Kinda like how dezod offers their s1 kit with different options on everything you get. You could have options for instance an oem or 3" tip, canister muffler or oem style muffler, resonator or no resonator. Production cost and time to build each individual exhaust might outweigh the benefits, but it's just a thought on a way to keep everyone happy. At the very least, you could be like ark and offer an oem style and a canister style, except at a more reasonable price lol. I'll probably never be turbo, just my expressing my thoughts.

If it was going to be built in house by speed-element.com im sure we would be able to offer this, but unfortunitly im going to assume this wont be an option
So far it seems most people want an OEM looking exhaust with al least one resonator. This is good as it will keep costs down.
Any thoughts on the resonators size? Im going to say at least 20'', what do you guys want?
being in cali, as you are and i am i would want something as stock looking as possible.
ya a canister looks cool and all, but if your running any kind of non stock set up, you dont wanna draw attention to yourself.
i would want a 3" s-pipe back exhaust with a straight midpipe, and a transversely mounted muffler with a 4" tip or so.
thats just how i would do it, if i were to make my own exhaust, which i have made plenty of lol
