I have about 1,600 miles on the kit and yes I installed it myself. I don't let anyone touch my cars because I don't need to hehe. Everything that is done to my car including interior and audio, was done by ME

Those people probably left off the O2 extender. I don't have a CEL and I know I won't be seeing one either. If the kit is installed correctly with all the parts, you won't have any problems.

The A/T tranny was another one of our customers, he is waiting for a bunch of other parts to come in before he does the install... I will def update the board when we have some definite results on the A/T

Thanks

Actually munch. I thought you were getting a Si cause the tC was too slow for your liking.

Anywho. Glad you stuck with the tC. Bigger is always better

damn, 11 pages and no indication of a 1/4 mile ETA....

although i must say, it sounds like an AWESOME kit, i was looking at the stage 1 kit from ZPI....i seen their car running mid 12's...does anyone know if that is stock other than Stage 1 or what?

Due to a sincere lack of 1/4 mile tracks in Socal Turbonetics just never gets a chance to run that in the car. However they did have a SCCA pro racer (took home #1 in two cups last year) flog the car around Willow Springs all day and embrass the hell out of all kinds of RWD fairly well modified cars at a recent Tuner day for the Motor Press Guild.

I believe in the video of ZPI running that 12.12 pass they had an open downpipe, drag slicks, the boost up to I THINK 12 psi. If anyone knows for sure, feel free to correct me. I hope someone hits the track soon to give us some 1/4 mile times so I know what to expect when I get get back and bring it to New England Dragway this summer.

ya, the only reason im kinda anxious for 1/4 mile times is its a good real life indicator of how things stack up....granted there is still some driver issues with 1/4 mile passes....but NOWHERE near as dependent on driver as SCCA AutoX is...thats about 80% driver.

I was referring to the 12.49 or 12.52 runs that i seen on their site...it appeared they had front slicks, but i couldnt tell anything else, and the kit claims no internals need to be upped. So i was wondering if thats a mid-12 car on all stock stuff?...if so, thats awesome!

Hey All,

An Average driver should be able to run low 13's on stock everything, including tires, a good driver with drag radials could easily see the 12 sec mark with the TNs kit at 8 PSI.

I just have to say, anyone that hasn't ridden in a TNs Boosted tC, must do it. It really drives like the car came with 300HP from the factory!!! It's a beautiful thing.
