How aggressive are you in doing the install?
Here's some points you may wanna try to look at:
1. Be sure you got every parts you needed and know the use (got to know how turbo system works)
2. Be sure you got the all the tools, seals, and stuff
3. Make sure you have help available during the install
4. You must have a person you can call or ask in case you mess up or get issues
5. others..

I would say its doable for newbies, just not for everybody

from what the whole bult on turbo looks like... it seems like everything is bolted onto what use to be the headers.... and all the rest is just piping... true?

you have remove the oil pan, tap the oil pan for the oil return, put it back and reseal it.. theres quiet few thing than just saying bolt on, theres bunch of stuff like putting on the gauges, hooking o2 sensors, maf sensor, engine management, injectors and stuff.. try to search DIY here check the tech section or dezod.com tech notes so you will have an idea... Im pretty sure you will mess up if you dont do a good research

something like installing a turbo should be overseen by a person who has either done one or has some sort of mechanical knowledge..........if you screw it up it gets expensive fast.........

just go for it man if u run into trouble just take some pics and post them on here. it is not that hard at all. you could possibly do it by ur self. ive done two turbo kits and a head swap for our cars and im only 19. i didnt have any issues when installing the kits one was a turbo toyotas and the other a dezod. the head i took off and ported it out myself. th hardest part about doing the install will be the oil pan but u can always remove it and have someone else tap it and weld it for you. if you have the kit and you want to be able to do this in the future u have to learn somewhere man.

Me and my boy installed my treadstone kit for the first time. outcome is very nice but if your new with it its a pain in the ___. took 3 days to do it though. woulda been a 2 days but fact that the crash bar was a _____ to cut with a dremel and as hungry as i kept getting for food and annoying ___ girlfriends we had to take breaks lol. na but its a fun process of going through to learn it. i had to take off the turbo kit due to tranny problems which only took 2 hours to take everything out, and when it was time to put everything back in it only took 5 hours.

I pulled all my old stuff off (intake, header, downpipe, spipe) off the night before and we spent the next day putting the kit on. The next weekend I had a shop install my injectors and my gauges, cause I don't like messing with wireing.

The hard part is the oil pan. You can take it to a shop and for $80 or so have them tap it and plug it so you can drive home to do the rest of the install. You may also have to drill for your IC. But yeah, it's all just a bunch of plumbing and some oil lines.

Go download the install sheet from the tech notes section at www.dezod.com All the kits shoudl be about the same, and you'll get a general idea of what's in store.

5days??? wtf? My and one other person who had also never done a turbo install did it in 1 day. If you do lots of research and pretty much memorize the steps to install, its cake.

<-- 1 day Turbo install
<--1 1/2 day clutch install (PAIN IN THE BUTT!!)

a weekend with all the right tools and if your lucky a lift. Id sugest getting ur support mods done first full exhaust clutch ect. then do ur turbo install if u were smart instead of parting a turbo kit together get a full kit that u wont have to do any cutting with like a dezod or TT kit
