no boost indicacion on my gauge
hi guys, i recently finished my custom turbo setup on my 08 TC
i still dont have any engine management installed(basicly its the only main thing missing). I've fired up my engines for the first time yesterday. Everything seems to be working fine on idlle. about 3 minutes after i.ve pushed gas but dint get any reading of boost on my gauge, only vacuum at about 4500 RPM. i thouth it was the boost controller so i.ve diconnected it but nothing. at about 5 minutes after my uego gauge went to 17.9 (lean) and them shutted down and my gas pedal wasnt working anymore.
here are some pics of the areas i gues i have trouble with.
in my opinion the car should be able to run on minimum boost (5psi).
need help bad.
vacuum line used
vucuum for gauge(clear) and BOV(red)
my setup
maf sensor on 3" pipe
custom downpipe . top=stock O2 sensor bottom= AEM UEGO sensor
wastegate setup. red from BC to WG yellow from Turbo to BC

That 3" intake you have probably will cause you some problems I ran a 3" intake on my custom kit also and ran very lean. I swaped out the maf holder for the maf holder in a injen intake and ran fine. So you probably want to use a 2.5" intake, As for the boost reading you realy only see boost when you drive / have a load on the engine. You have a 5psi spring in the wastegate now ? if so I wouldnt even bother hooking up the boost controller, 5psi with out managment is pretty much the most I would do. But I think you are going to have to change the maf holder before you can even drive the car because if it is anything like mine it will just stay lean.
