Default nology question

does anyone have the nology hotwires installed on a sc'd car? i'm thinking about getting them and i wanted to see if anyone had done that, and also if they had changed the spark plugs along with the wires. i can't decide if it's worth getting. any input would be great. thanx.

From what I've been told the coils are on the plugs, so the hot wires would be pointless.

i just got sent this link about dyno numbers with the nology wires on an xa:

http://scion-tech.com/zerothread?id=881

i haven't had a chance to go through the entire post, but basically, the guy lost 1.3hp and 2lb/ft of torque along with having the car run richer. basically it's a waste of money for losing power.

Yea its more of an aesthethic mod if anything. They are a joke and not needed. Coil on Plug setup we have is sweet.

Had them on my supercharged tC. They were just for visual enhancement. Didnt really change much at all. Use your money else where power wise. As for looks, its pretty nice if you want a cleaner bay
