noob turbo install question
hey guys i was wondering one thing about turbo installation.
i have everything done using a diy turbo install on this site and its been great so far, no problems. until now...there is a problem that i am stumped on and i was just wondering the turbo...there are 4 holes. what do these holes do??? am i suppose to fill these holes....the diy shows that all the holes arent filled and that just seems odd to me....please help....

looks like a 16g turbo huh? your going to have 1 oil feed and 1 oil return, then you have a water inlet and outlet...the water inlet and outlet are kinda optional but nice to have. (personaly id hook em up, thats just me). you should find something to either plug thos holes or run a water line to em.
now the water inlet and outlet will be the same size if i remember correctly and the oil feed will look much like one of the water holes (lack of a better word..leave me alone damnit..lol) so be careful which hole you hook up your oil feed to...lol...the oil return (drain) will be the biggest hole, if you blow into it (compressor) you will feel the air come out of the oil feed...thats how you find those...as far as i know it doesnt matter if you get the water inlet mixed up with the water outlet.

i understand that i should get water inlet/outlet
but right now i basicallly want to install and get it done and maybe add them later....u said i should plug it up if i dont have them....do i have to plug it up, the photo i used is not my own car....but same turbo...they didnt look like they filled the holes...just trying to clear up some things thanks bro!

They are usually banjo bolt setups for the water lines. Very easy and quick install process. Just put the copper crush washer under the banjo bolts and SS lines, tighten with 15/16" wrench or socket, tap into feed and return heater hose lines and you're done. Took me about 15 mins during my turbo install.
