TRD is very noticeable, my cousin just got one on her stock auto and its pretty loud.

i think the quietest exhaust possible on this car is a Greddy SP2 or a custom magnaflow.

why do you want an exhaust anyways?

TRD...and loud should not be in the same sentence.

the trd axleback is almost not even noticable; plus it looks similar so your dad might not notice
what kind of exhausts do you guys have that make the trd seem loud?

If you want quiet then get Tanabe Medallion (oem style) That exhaust is probably the quietest aftermarket exhaust I've heard.

Do you have the supercharger, or a turbo kit?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say no. Doubt Daddy will let him do that...

But what Mr_Meaty is getting at, is that the turbo will make your exhaust quieter.

Um...yeah...that's what I was getting at
Actually, I was going to be a dick and say move this to "drivetrain & power" as this is the wrong forum! But what rhythm said is true as well.

My question to you is, why even get an axle back if not for the sound? It's not like an axle back will do much for performance?

^^"Much"....Try None! Complete waste of money. If you want to mod your car and be stealth about it, to keep your Dad off your butt, look into getting a Crank Pulley or something along those lines. Try taking out weight in the vehicle. And put some subtle springs and struts on it, that give it a nominal drop (without to much drop to where it's noticeable at first glance), such as TRD springs/struts, or some Tein H-techs. They improve handling tremendously. As well as adding some Sway bars.

I agree 100%. I got my exhaust purely for sound, cause I wanted to hear it over my stereo (which is no longer the case since I upgraded that again!!!). But if you want power and dont' want daddy to find out, get H.techs, sway bars, a short shifter, lightway crank pully, and a lighter flywheel. Oh, and stickier tires. You dad will not notice any of those except MAYBE the springs, and youwill have a quicker, better handling car.
