Default P0037 wont go away..

I am Boosted and have an 08 tC. I noticed my Rear O2 sensor was broken so I replaced it and cleared my Codes but it comes back in within a minute.

What the hell is going on?

Double check that the connector is plugged in and inspect the wiring.

Also what kind of o2 sensor did you buy? Did you buy a cheap generic one from ebay? Just asking because not all o2 sensors have the same design. Here is quick right up on it. http://www.asashop.org/autoinc/may98/techtips.htm

Hmmmm.... interesting I don't know, I'll try to do some research. If I find out anything I'll be sure to post but like crush said since it is low voltage it might be something with the wiring or connection.

Default im ready to kill

ok i have a question my greddy ultimate is tapped into my ecu wires. would one of the thirty wires be plugged into my o2 sensor circuit. cuz if so maybe its drawing to much power and causing my engine light to keep coming back

The circuit is simple: Yellow wire is Battery + from the relay and Blue is - from the ECU IIRC. ECU senses that heater element in the O2 Sensor is not drawing correct amount of current.
If you want to start diagnosing then get under the car and make sure you have + and - on the correct wires.
Also may check with the dealer if there are any TSB's related to P0037.

so the greddy ultimate may be plugged in backwards? like the guy put positive and negative on wrong and its not reading correctly now? the o2 sensor i put it is not universal its plug in true from dealer so i couldnt mess the wires up on that.

idk why on earth someone would wire a tc secondary o2 sensor into a greddy unit so i kinda doubt thats your problem. that very code will pop up if secondary o2 is left unpluged btw.
