I tryd searching for intercooler topics on here but had no luck. And google searching is leaving me helpless.

I just want to know what intercoolers you guys like and why?
I cant find any online that are direct fit or am i just looking in the wrong places?Links would be appreciated!

Get one from Dezod. Find out what size they use, and go with that. Pretty sure you can buy a separate intercooler from their site.

 

The Dezod intercooler is great. Its what Im using with the rest of my custom setup and my IATs are great (within 10-15* of ambient after multiple pulls) even on hot days. My MAF is a blowthrough setup - just before the TB so I can acurrately monitor my true IAT using ScanXL. Im also at 15 psi on a 60-1, so that says alot for how efficient this intercooler is - and an added bonus - it fits perfectly without cutting the bumper or any of that BS

Did u buy the universal kit? with out the piping?
They got the V3 cooler and piping for 650$ pretty damn pricey

 

HAHA its more $ for piping then a damn intercooler

 

I heard that turbotoyotas turbo kit uses cxracing intercooler. I've found some for around $110 shipped. I bought one and use tt's pipes. I havent intalled it yet tho.

 

That's because the pipes are mandrel bent, not cuts and welds galore. The pipes are also tig welded and polished. Lots more work goes into those than an intercooler.

this is true i have one but it is honestly garbage. i wouldnt recomend a CX racing IC to anyone.

 

Im using a godspeed intercooler n its great

 

Check out the classifieds if you're looking for deals on quality stuff. I've seen people parting out Dezod IC's in the past just keep an eye out.

what issues are you having with CX racing IC?

 

x2 and like 150 bucks... cant beat it.

 

its cracked on me 3 times now from normal driving

well i dont remember i think i paid 120 but mines 4" thick :o

 

ohhh mine is 3" thick so maybe thats the dif but either way its a good intercooler
