Actually the upkeep is the same. Change the oil every 3,000 miles and thats it. Modern ball bearing turbos will last as long as your car will Superchargers will have the same kind of maintenance plus you have to keep an eye on your belts...I've taken my turbo Z on 4+ hour road trips without any issues..

The turbo kit removes the stock air box correct? If Turbonetics gets thier kit CARB'd

Turbonetics=GAWD... or a part of a wealthy mob family.

Yes it does... and yes they are trying for it...I've talked to CARB reps lately and apparentely as long as there are no OBDII codes popped, it passes the sniffer even on cold start, and there is a cat on the car you can pass CARB. It appears they have gotten more lax then in the past.. A twin turbo kit for Z just passed carb with all kinds of parts replaced. It seems the CARB guys may be a bit more lax then in the past... Good news for Turbonetics...

And my suspicions have been confirmed...

Turbonetics must be owned and operated by the Gili's The california Cheese and wine crime syndacit formally known as "The Pantablet" Who had distinguished members such as:
The Vatican
The Rockafellers
and The Colonel before he went **** up.

Its an impressive kit. But I'll hold off for the actual cert to go through b4 i purchase this kit. t3/4 hybrid turbos have powered many blazing fast cars. Like searl tate's 12.3 1/4 200 sx wich was 50 state legal.

You should contact one of the vendors they may be able to work something out for you payment wise...
Check with Mossy Performance or turbo-kits.com One of them might have something they could do...
