Default Precision PW39 39MM WASTEGATE

Today I received my Pw39 wastegate upgrade From Titan after having spike issues with the Turbonectics Deltgate Ver 2. Precision makes top notch quality product hands-down. It comes well equipped with five springs all color coded for easy installation, banjo barb fittings, two flanges stainless and regular type, hex bolts, valve seat, lock washers and color instruction manual.

One thing I did notice and this might concern some people when they install is the valve seat is very loose and not snugg at all until you place it on your manifold wastegate flange and lock it down.

Anyway to my point this is similar to a Tial 38mm wastegate but the Precision has two ports on the lower section of the wastegaste one for the barb fitting and one for a pressure cap. I didn't realize it had an extra port and when I started the car big air leak.
After looking closely at the detailed picture I realized it had another port. For anyone else who buys this remember to look for the extra port and cap it off with the pressure cap and seal washer and save yourself from chasing unwanted air leaks.

I tried to upload photos to make it easy for people to understand what I'm talking about but I can't resize the photo small enough.

I hope this helps anyone else who gets this wastegate.

Curious to see how PTE's gate works out for you. I am enjoying the new Synapse one.

Crush thats why where here to inform and help people about different products and such.

Paul it performs alot better than the deltagate ver 2. turbo spool time has dropped. It pulls and feels stronger thru the gears and hold boost on the spot. Given the deltagate was older it caused idling issues and from doing some research after buying it(used) found out on the DSM and EVO forums they are prone to spike and overboost issues.

Overall Grade A+ product

Paul I was looking into the synapse line due to their redesigned actuator but seeing the price I stayed with the tried and true old style. It really adds a nice visual to your engine bay.
