Default Pretty Quiet In Here

How's everyone doing this summer? Hope no one is getting overheated or nothing.

Seems like our section has died out for the most part for the month of July

Just thought I'd see how everyone's projects are going and see how all the owners are doing and the businesses on here.

Hope everyone is having a "cool" summer!

Rockin a big Stiffy now.

Installed my Stiffy this weekend and found it to be amazing. I have it installed on 10mm. You can hear the engine a little louder but I'm happy because it does not rattle anything in the interior at all. I did cover the under side of the bracket with Edead. Here are the benefits I experienced.

1) While accelerating at wot, going over bumps was a killer, it felt like the axels could snap. This must of been due to the engine jamming back and forth.

2) Smoother downshifting.

3) Smoother launching and up shifting.

It's been refreshingly quiet...

I really think that things were flying so fast that we got used to something new hitting every week... now, it's slowed down a bit and will allow all the kinks to be worked out of the setups and such...

Plus, the lack of drama is just wonderful!

I gotta get me one of those ingalls doohickies...

I'm kind of glad things have clamed down. Hopefully now we can all get a long and really have the tC a feared car in the Tuner Scene

Yes you should get a stiffy!

Its been exceptionally hot here to. Record highs are predicted for this week. Makes horrible weather for tuning, especially with the high dew points and humidity in the air.

My car is coming along nicely. Paint and body work should be done soon and then I can finally put some miles on it, which will be nice. Then I'll just need a decent day to get it tuned out.

I agree, the lack of drama is quite refreshing.

GOt out into the car at lunch and pressed the temp button, and said "Woah, I didn't know it went past two digits!". It has been on average 85-95 in Upstate South Cakalak.

As for project, My turbo kit ships this week from Sound Performance. Might go get a dyno pull this friday, if I can remember to pre-register. Big brake kit is holding up after one week of being on, braided lines and the rotor swap made a big difference.

Other than that, fairly quiet around here, just running from the cops as usual (loitering, didn't know it was a crime if no sign was posted.....)

That's because I haven't been around to shake things up....

This is about as much excitement as I have had since the tC went into the shop.

I coated my wheels on the Z:

Well gotta admit things have slowed down quite a bit around here. My kit is coming along pretty good I'll be ordering my injectors prob. tom. then once they arrive I will install those along with my new hks type 1 turbo timer and it will be off to the dyno.

Im siciliano, all my family is in Carini, right outside Palermo. Me and one of my cousins have the same exact name and we were born only 2 months apart...weird lol. My parents were there last November but I didnt end up going with them, I went to Vegas instead...had a lot of fun but definitely couldnt stay with them for the full 2 weeks. This time I think they are just going for a week to stay with the family for a lil. Last time they did a little touring around the Almafi, Positano etc
