Problem FIC logging
I am having a problem using the "internal logging" feature on the FIC.
Here are the two scenarios I am experiencing
I have the FIC running firmware 1.19 and 2.01 SW and using a laptop with Vista
Scenario #1
I hit the internal logging ground switch for 20 seconds but after I download the log it only recorded for a random time like 8 or 11 seconds but the data is correct, not missing AFR’s , RPM, etc
Scenario #2
I hit the internal logging ground switch for 20 seconds and after I download the log it indeed did record for 20 seconds but the first line in the log is copied throughout the log file, useless data.
logging with the laptop connected and using the menu , “start log” “stop log” works great.
Anyone else having these problems

yeah, using the software menu works great for me, but when my first tuner/installer tried to wire up the ground switch, he ditched the idea.
If I remember correctly, I think he said he contaced AEM and they said it didn't work properly...but that might have been what they said about the scramble boost on my Tru-BOOST gauge.
Sorry...not much help here.

aem = dissapointment & headaches when it comes to tuners, but it works. So far no one can tune my freakin F/IC so im doing it myself, and barely anyone knows how to set up the tru-boost, so im doing it myself. I dont know why people dont spend some time to learn these things because plenty of people use it and are willing to pay someone who knows how to do it..... watch once i figure this stuff out ill be tuning everyone on the east coast lol!
and it doesnt surprise me that their internall logger doesnt work, try upgrading to version 3 anyway and trying it.

First, in the fuel map there are two lines, LOAD and RPM to tune to.
When I'm going up a hill WOT the LOAD is at 26 , when I go down hill WOT the load is 15. So what I'm saying is that if you don't tune for all possible LOAD points your tune will never be consistent. Have your tuner tune to different loads if their Dyno will do that.
