Default PTUNING: 3" Down Pipe with 2.5" Outlet Option (Coming Soon!)

We will be releasing an Option#2 (3" to 2.5" downpipe). This will be for those customers who wish to run the PTUNING Spec-SS Turbo Kit, but are not ready to run our PTUNING 3" Exhaust System at this time. The 2.5" outlet section will be designed to bolt directly to most aftermarket 2.25" or 2.5" cat-back exhaust systems.

More details (pictures, and pricing) coming soon.

Regards,
Mike @ PTUNING

From a performance point of view, we don't believe in designing this part. It's never ideal to go from a 3" downpipe to a 2.25" or even a 2.5" cat-back exhaust. Also, we wanted everything from the dowpipe back to be all v-band clamps.

However, we will introduce this option for customer who wish to run the PTUNING Spec-SS turbo kit with other non 3" cat-back exhaust systems.

I agree fully not the best performance wise. You will sell more kits this way though. Most people arent running a 3" exhaust. Makes you guys more money, now your open to the market who don't want to upgrade their exhaust quite yet. Good move from a business perspective.
